The upgraded scroll wheel mounting component features sharp angles with a contrasting color design. It incorporates custom bearings inside, optimizing the scrolling experience.

I would hesitantly recommend this, it's nice to type on, battery is solid, easy to take apart and its decently water proof. I have two big issues the recessed nature of the power switch that requires you to remove the enter key and how thin the ribbon cable is between the board and battery.

I really enjoy the unique design of this keyboard. The nice thick dye-sub keycaps it comes with are great. I wish I would have had a tactile switch option, which I much prefer to linear switches, but I changed the switches myself after receiving the keyboard. The linear switches are fine; I just do not like linear switches.
There are a few ways the keyboard could be better. First, the horizontal knob has no tactile feeling to it (spins freely), and it changes the volume in large, choppy increments. I would prefer a knob that has tactile feedback as it turns, and that adjusted the volume in smaller increments.
Second, I wish the keyboard supported VIA. The wired version does support VIAL (desktop app), but the product page is not super clear about this. VIA recognizes the keyboard but does not know its key layout and cannot be used.
Third, I wish a few extra keycaps were included for the four keys near to the knob, which people (including me) often want to re-map. It's not a huge deal to have a key's function not match the legend, but it would have been a nice touch to throw in a few extras.
Finally, I have noticed on several occasions that the keyboard seems to go to sleep or crash after a period of not typing on it. The only way to fix this seems to be to unplug it and plug it back in. I hope Luminkey is able to provide a future firmware update to solve this issue.
