When I bought my Luminkey98, I had no idea it didn’t come with backlit keycaps. At first, I thought my keyboard was defective—but no, it turns out a company with “Lumin” in the name actually sells a premium keyboard with zero RGB. Even $30 boards come with backlighting these days. Sadly, mine now just sits in its box in the closet. It’s a shame, because it types beautifully and looks great on my desk… I just can’t see the keyboard unless the office lights are on :/

The interchangeability of the numpad and the maim keys using magnetic pin connection is such an ingenious design! The alu finish is flawless, didn't notice any B grade quality issues. My client loves the board and the custom plate adds a nice touch of uniqueness, thanks to Lk for sharing the file!

I was interested in trying out a southpaw keyboard but was a little apprehensive because I didn't want to drop a chunk of change for something I wasn't sure I would like. The great thing about this board is the ease of switching it to left or right handed numberpad. Beyond that, it's a delight to type on. The sound is pleasant and the feel is enjoyable. I wasn't expecting how heavy it is; this thing is built like a tank which adds to the overall sense of craftsmanship. So far I've been using it southpaw style but might swap it back to normal. Having that option is what I like the most about it.

I think it's a really good keyboard for young people in this day and age. You can move the number pad around and use it, so you can easily create space anywhere you want on the left and right sides of the keyboard.
That's great for playing games, and I think it's a really good keyboard to use not only for games, but also for various activities like work or editing. I hope many of you enjoy the Luminkey98 keyboard over Christmas.
