This keyboard combines quite a few points into a beautiful package:
- Tri-Mode, Hot-Swap PCB in 1.6mm (so many only do 1.2mm)
- ISO layout (WITH hotswap, not just solder like many others)
- stepped caps lock
- nice design (side profile not as simple as many others)
- low front height

Often one can find one or two of these features in a board, but all of them? For 140?
There’s a reason I got two (creme, black) and thinking about a third (silver).

This board punches far above its price. It's nicely finished and I had no problem getting it sounding great. No foams, FR4 plate, and Obscuras for an icey clack with no annoying resonance. Received the in stock board promptly in the USA. I'm really impressed and won't hesitate to go Luminkey again.

I truly prefer 65% keyboard so when I saw this in red I had to get one on order! It got here yesterday and I ordered over the weekend - 3 days basically to AR/USA. I got the barebones then built with WS Heavy Tactiles and GMK WoB key caps. Luminkey did not include the plate foam preinstalled which was truly a blessing. While I did add it for this build there are other barebones kits that preinstall it and it gets stuck to the PCB or just leave it out. To me the Luminkey option was best.

Finish is flawless and the build was super easy and fun! I did use another brand of stabs as I already had them built/lubed, yes I was excited for it to arrive, but the barebones kit included stabs that were ready to install in the kit. For those who are wondering as I don't think it's listed on the Website, you do get the very nice case and all the goodies with the barebone - only things not included are switches and key caps.

This is my first Luminkey board but definitely won't be my last as this ranks up there with much more expensive builds. You don't get as many options for weights or colors but if you like what they have the quality itself, feel and sound are as good as anything else I have and better than most.

No issues getting the BT or 2.4 GHz to work. It is worth noting that mine was in 2.4GHz mode by default so I had to FN-TAB a couple of times to get it to USB to setup VIA/QMK. Literally took 5 seconds but felt it was worth mentioning. JSON file is on the website and very easy to find.

Only thing I would say that is a con is that if you want alternative layouts or screw in stabs you need to purchase a separate plate. That wasn't an issue for me at all and probably won't be for most. However as the PCB has a lot of great options it would be a nice to have. That being said there are a good number of layout options on the PCB if you need them.

While there have been a number of nice 65% boards over the past year, I don't think any of those are currently in production. Luminkey's timing was perfect and they have put together a stellar board. If you want a 65% in 2024, this is the one to get!

it has a unique design that no matter which view you look at it(top, side or bottom) you can always tell it's luminkey65. Quality is Great.. Building it is plain and simple. Beginner friendly. Good Anodization.. although i still dont have a time to use it for a longer time, my initial impression is Great... I put a vinyl sticker on Copper Badge and Weight.

The packaging was excellent and setup was easy. Bluetooth connection is stable and the battery lasts surprisingly long.
